If you’ve sought out Family Law Results, you may be wondering about the changes to our website.
In an exciting move, we have joined forces with a team of lawyers from around New Zealand. My colleagues and I have come together out of our shared commitment to doing law differently and helping out clients resolve their family law disputes out of Court.
Our new practice is called Lighthouse Legal. Its tagline sums up the shared philosophy and approach to legal practice that has brought my colleagues and I together: Understand. Resolve. Thrive.
Three years ago I took the plunge, ended my 20+ years of litigation and became the first family law firm in New Zealand to offer a specialised dispute resolution service to keep its clients out of Court. My mission was to change the way New Zealanders experience family law and separation. My commitment to this has not changed. If anything, it is stronger now that I have been joined by other likeminded lawyers who also are dedicated to treating Court as a last resort.
Every lawyer at Lighthouse Legal is trained in Collaborative Law. Some of us are also trained mediators while others are also trained divorce coaches. I am particularly excited that I can now offer my clients more extensive range of services beyond family law, thanks to the expertise of my colleagues at Lighthouse.
