Rosemarie Brown
Collaborative Lawyer & Mediator

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Rosemarie developed considerable experience as an accountant, mediator and Collaborative Professional. Rosemarie works hard to assist people to resolve disputes that could become time consuming and damaging in a more holistic, positive way. She acts as an impartial third party as a mediator (and previously as a Collaborative financial neutral) working to strengthen relationships and find a constructive way forward.
Rosemarie is a Professional member of Resolution Institute (LEADR), a Fellow (Mediator) and Panel List Mediator with AMINZ, and a registered FDR provider with the Ministry of Justice. She has thousands of hours experience in family law mediation and commercial disputes in New Zealand and Australia. In 2025 she joined the independent bar as a Barrister based at Hobson Chambers in Auckland.
Rosemarie is a member of IACP and serves a number of its committees.
She has brought her legal, financial and resolution acumen to a number of Collaborative Process cases as a member of the Collaborative professional team.
